Mumbai: A 20-year-old college student died by suicide on Tuesday evening, jumping from the terrace of a 14-storey residential building in Matunga, where she lived with her family.
Preliminary reports suggest the victim was battling depression. On the day of the incident, two close friends visited her at home. The three went up to the terrace, where her friends reportedly tried to console her, but she suddenly jumped, leaving them in shock.
