To strengthen the North African market and establish new trade relations to consolidate Valencia port as a bridge between Africa and Europe. With this objective in mind, Cristina Rodriguez, head of containers of the Port Authority of València (PAV), has once again travelled to Logismed, one of the main meeting points for logistics and supply chain professionals in Morocco, which brings together more than 4,500 visitors from the sector every year.

Located in the Spain Pavilion, the representative of Valencia port has held working meetings with representatives of companies and institutions from the other side of the Mediterranean, betting on the capacities of the ports of València and Sagunto to increase traffic between Spanish and Moroccan companies.

During the meeting, which is being held from 12 to 15 May, possible lines of collaboration with Morocco in areas such as training, information systems and innovation have also been analyzed. In this sense, Juan Manuel Díez, director of Innovation of Valencia port, participated in a round table where he was able to describe the latest innovation projects promoted from the Valencian docks.
