Daikin Reefer today announces the launch of Planexia, its advanced and innovative telematics brand, designed to bring practical value and advanced functionality to the reefer container industry.

Daikin Reefer is a leading supplier of refrigeration and climate control solutions for the reefer container industry. Headquartered in Japan, it is the refrigeration division of global refrigeration, air conditioning and climate control provider Daikin Industries Ltd.

Planexia combines Daikin’s deep technical expertise with an open, collaborative framework that partners with third-party telematics vendors. The result is a highly flexible offering that meets diverse customer needs while consistently delivering high-quality functionality.

Through open data-sharing protocols and support for key functions such as data downloads, software uploads and performance insights, Planexia offers greater flexibility for the market. An original server, currently under development, will further enhance efficiency by collecting trip data* via API communication with each vendor (*All data exchanges are conducted with user permission)
  1. Advanced original functions – powering the future
Drawing on its extensive data resources, Daikin Reefer is developing features that are exclusive to Planexia, including predictive diagnostics and advanced performance detection – all designed to keep customers ahead of the curve
