NEW DELHI: In a joint operation, security forces apprehended two terrorist associates in the DK Pora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The operation was conducted by the Indian Army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles, the Special Operations Group (SOG) Shopian, and the CRPF’s 178 Battalion. According to Shopian Police, the forces recovered two pistols, four grenades, 43 live rounds, and other incriminating materials from the suspects.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. Authorities said further details will be shared as the probe progresses.
