BHOPAL: A 30-year-old married woman was allegedly molested by a man who forcibly entered her home in the Aishbagh area on Wednesday afternoon. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
According to police, the woman, who previously worked at a catering agency, knew the accused—identified as Jitendra, a resident of the Bajaria area—through her former workplace. The two had stayed in touch, with Jitendra frequently making audio and video calls to her, which she initially responded to given their past professional connection.
However, on Wednesday, Jitendra allegedly pressured her over the phone to meet him. When she refused, he showed up at her residence uninvited and forced his way inside. As she resisted, he allegedly molested her.
The woman immediately informed her husband and subsequently filed a complaint with the police. A molestation case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
