HYDERABAD: Bandlaguda police arrested two men and detained a 17-year-old boy after a motorcyclist was assaulted in a road-rage incident near Savera Hotel on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the accused — MA Zaki (30), Md Abdul Safi (18), and their juvenile relative — were travelling in an SUV from Chandrayangutta towards Aramghar when they allegedly rammed a bike carrying welding workers Syed Abed and Syed Yousuf around 12.45 pm.
After the collision, the trio stepped out and attacked Yousuf with a plastic bat, leaving him with a bleeding head injury. A video of the assault has since gone viral on social media.
Based on Abed’s complaint, a case was registered and the three taken into custody.
